So, you need to add a user to Google Analytics. No problem. Follow the instructions below and you will be sharing data in NO TIME flat.
Log into your Google account from the Google main page
So, ready or not, here it comes — a full Google Analytics tutorial complete with screenshots:
Once you are logged into your Google Account, click on “Settings” and then “Google Account Settings.”
Now, click on “Analytics”. If you do not see “Analytics” on this screen, you are using the wrong Google account. You will need to find out the username and password of the Google account that is associated with your Google Analytics.
Now, click on your “Account” as indicated with the red box below.
In your Google Analytics Profile click on “User Manager”
Then click on “Add User”
For then next step, if you are adding Terrakon Marketing to your Google Analytics you will need to enter the Terrakon Marketing Google account email in the “Email Address” field. Our Google account email is [mcc707 at terrakon.com] where the written ‘at’ is replaced by an @.
If you are adding someone other than Terrakon [shame on you 
] type in the email address of the person you are sharing with. (Tip: This email address must be associated with a Google Account. If the person you are sharing with doesn’t have a Google account, ask them to go here and create one. Then ask them to send you the email address associated with the new Google account.) Once you have the persons Google Account “Email Address”, type it into the “Email Address” field.
Click to highlight the proper website profile and then click “Add”
Now, click “Save Changes” and you are done!
One thing to mention in the last step is that there is two different “Access Types”:
- View Reports Only — This allows the person you are sharing with to view reports but make no alterations to your Analytics.
- Account Administrator — Which gives them full admin rights over your Analytics account.
